ABOUT ME

Who I am & What I do

Luis Disla

Digital Product Manager
Starting as a Computer Engineer and growing my technical background, I’ve become knowledgeable in the requirements/pitfalls of a product and the general infrastructure of an application’s frontend and backend. Proceeding to co-found my own company in the TeleMedicine industry, I’ve learned the inner workings of building a business, designing a product for scale, as well as taking on the different roles needed such as design, development and marketing. Thus moving on to work at a company that creates digital experiences for many clients, I’ve grown to be able to handle a large number of clients/projects at once, lead a multi-discipline team, and bring a concept through the stages of UX, UI, development, and launch.

This site is a preview of some of my skill sets as I’ve become a jack of all trades. I can accomplish many goals in a team because I understand the facets of every part of the product pipeline.

PORTFOLIO

A Preview of My Works

User Experience Design

Building a UX is often made at a high level, while I use my technical background to ensure all edge cases are covered and feasibility is considered.

Presentation Design

Often presentations must have focal points and deliver the most information in an attractive way so viewers can follow along easily.

Marketing Tools

I’m able to cover many marketing concepts such as websites, branding, marketing schemes, business plans and monetizing strategies.

PROCESS

How we get from Start to Finish

Goals and Expectations

The overall expectations of the product are considered and put through analysis from both a technical and business perspective. The requirements and limitations are set as the product’s top audience is used as the main influence for features.

Product Design

The features for a minimum viable product are considered and applied into a UX for the product, considering all edge cases for the development stage. The UI is designed and a timeline is produced for the implementation of the product.

Market Strategy

The relative market regarding radio, online newsletters, bloggers and social media influencers is considered. A larger burst campaign is attempted at launch and strategy is adjusted over time based on conversions from several directions.

Scaling the Business

Analyzing statistics from demographics and user retention, plans can be made for different updates that zone in on active users. The roll-out of new features are planned based on projected conversions to reduce drop rates of users.
